Service Description

Mobility training is the athletic enhancement and conditioning of the joints to perform at longer ranges, which benefits the athlete by creating more efficiency in their movements through better leverage and movement options. It also makes articulate, accurate and efficient movement patterns more accessible and protects the joints from injury, damage and dysfunction. We use a mixture of techniques designed to work with the nervous system, pass the body’s reflexes, redefine motor path and neural control (neural grooving), strengthen joints and tissues back to their full capabilities, and push the limits over time to allow people to achieve end range excellence. The aim of this course is to learn the safest and correct techniques for developing functional joints, movement patterns and mobility across the body. Participants will learn: • the latest sport science and theory on mobility and how to apply this to training • the correct technique and secrets of mobility training and how to teach it • development paths towards rehabilitating and developing the range of each major joint of the body • progressions and regressions for all moves, as well as a walkthrough on how to develop your own mobility routines What’s covered; - Principles of Neural Tension, Blockages, Breathwork and Reflexes - Principles of Self-Myofascial Release and Techniques - Assessment of Joints, Tissue and Fascial structures - Neural and Tissue Activation - Joint Gliding and Articulation - End-range Conditioning - Integrated S&C - Fascial Patterns - Q&A and discussion Our course will help you to; - Understand and apply the importance of joint stability and mobility - Assess and correct postural issues causing dissymmetry or misalignment of the body through movements - Create different exercises and patterns in various ranges of motion, in order to develop the mobility of any specific joint - Heal and recover dysfunctional joints and tissues - Correct compensation and coach strict articulated movements - Learn to use and coach usage of various therapy equipment - Put together mobility programmes for clients based on customised needs and common dysfunctions
